What Should I Expect During Treatment with
Bloom Orthodontics

Choosing an orthodontist is a significant decision, whether for yourself or a loved one. We know you have questions and concerns.

We want you to feel relaxed and confident at our initial new patient consultations. We also want you to leave with the information you need to make the choice that’s right for you. That’s why every first visit to Bloom Orthodontics includes these essential steps:

An introductory examination.

Any orthodontist will need to examine your mouth before making a diagnosis. The initial examination usually takes less than 15 minutes and will be painless and comfortable. We use digital radiography for our X-rays, which reduce our patient’s radiation exposure. We also take our impressions with an intraoral scan instead of with materials you bite into that can taste bad and trigger your gag reflex.

An explanation of your orthodontic treatment options.

After the initial examination, we present one or more treatment options. We will explain the process behind each choice, the pros and cons they offer, and the results you can expect. We are proud to offer many modern orthodontic treatments, like Clear Aligners, Chic™ clear brackets, and Inbrace™ lingual braces that provide the more discreet treatment options many of our patients prefer.

Time for you to ask questions.

Once you know your options, we leave plenty of time at the end of each consultation so you don’t have to rush through your questions to find out everything you’d like to know. Also, we are always happy to answer follow-up questions later.

Remember, there is no cost or obligation to get a consultation from Dr. Vu and the team at Bloom Orthodontics. You do not need to make an “on-the-spot” decision about your orthodontic care.

You will enjoy the benefits of a well-informed decision over the next few months during treatment and the results of your modern orthodontic care for the rest of your life. So, take your time and choose the orthodontist that’s right for you.
