Most patients who come to us do so because they want high-quality modern orthodontic work that incorporates the latest tools and technologies, but also because they want to work with a friendly team of professionals that they trust. Everything we do is designed with your comfort in mind. You won’t find a better or more modern orthodontic experience.

We use the latest technology and treatment options. We have recently upgraded our office and equipment. For example, our imaging tools include digital photography and x-rays, which are more comfortable and safer for patients. We also feature the latest invisible treatment options, so only you and your doctor need to know you have “braces.”

All of them. Whether you need simple braces and retainers or orthodontic surgery, we can help

It depends. We know, it’s not a direct answer. However, since every treatment is different, it’s difficult to answer this question. A quick Google search will reveal a range between $3,000 to $5,000, with some estimates going up to $10,000. The best way to know how much treatment will cost for you or your loved one is to have a free, no-obligation consultation so we can give you a treatment plan.

We have agreements with most major insurers. Our staff will be happy to check your individual dental plan and co-pay options. Call our office and we’ll be happy to determine what your options are.

Not usually. We have flexible payment plans for patients who qualify, whether you’re paying for all of your dental work or only what your insurance does not cover.

Yes. In fact, Bloom Orthodontics was one of the first orthodontic practices in Long Beach to adopt this exciting technology. We also have Chic™ clear brackets, and Inbrace™ lingual braces, as well as other new treatment modalities.

Your dentist is a valuable member of your dental care team. However, dentists do not specialize in the correction of a bite or the straightening of teeth. While many of the latest technologies do provide your regular dentist the tools to straighten some of their patient’s teeth, a specialist is often needed for the more complicated cases.

Orthodontics is a specialty recognized by the American Dental Association and requires at least two additional years of training. In other words, all orthodontists are dentists, but not all dentists are orthodontists.

If you are unsure if orthodontics is right for you (or someone you love), ask your regular dentist. You can also schedule a free, no-obligation consultation with us here at Bloom Orthodontics.

It depends. Every case is different. Most treatments fall between one to two years. However, some cases are much shorter and some cases take longer, up to three years. The length of treatment depends on several factors including the patient’s age, the problems we are correcting, and what type of treatment you choose, meaning invisible aligners versus traditional braces, and so on. When we present your treatment plan, we also share the duration we estimate for treatment.

In most cases, our patients visit us every four to six weeks. Like many things in treatment, it will depend on your individual case. When we present your treatment plan, we will discuss the frequency of your visits as well.

We understand accidents happen. Call the office if you are having a problem and we will recommend the best next step for your case.

Choosing your orthodontist is a matter of personal preference. Our recommendation is to take your time, ask a lot of questions, and find a doctor that makes you feel comfortable. Whether you choose our office or another, the process of building a better smile takes a while—and the results last even longer—so you don’t want to rush your choice.
